Third Place in the Regional Kontes Robot Indonesia - Batam, Indonesia

The Robot Team of Batam State Polytechnic (Polibatam) once again achieved remarkable success at the Regional 1 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI), which was held online at BRAIL from May 29–31, 2023. In this competition, the Polibatam Robot Team won three awards, namely:

1. 🥈 2nd Place in the ABU Robocon Indonesia Division, supervised by Rifqi Amalya F.

2. 🥈 2nd Place in the Wheeled Indonesian Soccer Robot Contest Division, supervised by Hendawan Soebhakti

3. 🥉 3rd Place in the Humanoid Indonesian Soccer Robot Contest Division, supervised by Eko Rudiawan J.

   
   

Following these regional achievements, the Polibatam Robot Team will evaluate each division’s performance and prepare for the National Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI), which will be held at Universitas Semarang from June 21–26, 2023.

The 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) is organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) under the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek). The KRI was first held in 2003 under the Directorate General of Higher Education, then part of the Department of Education and Culture.

We hope that in this year’s National KRI, the Polibatam Robot Team will once again bring home a championship title to Polibatam.
