Third Place at Kontes Robot Indonesia - Surakarta, Indonesia

SURAKARTA – The Batam State Polytechnic Robot Team, Barelang FC, proudly claimed 3rd place at the 2024 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) held in Surakarta. This achievement further solidifies Barelang FC’s reputation as one of the top robotics teams in Indonesia.

“Alhamdulillah, this achievement proves that Polibatam students are capable of competing at the national level,” said Mr. Eko Rudiawan, the supervising lecturer of the team.

The competition brought together the best teams from various universities across Indonesia, testing artificial intelligence, gameplay strategies, and the durability of the robots each team had designed and developed. Barelang FC secured a top 3 position after a series of intense and challenging matches.

🏆 1st Place: Ichiro – Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology 🥈 2nd Place: Al-‘Aadiyaat – Yogyakarta State University 🥉 3rd Place: Barelang FC – Batam State Polytechnic

Congratulations were also delivered by Dr. Muhammad Zaenuddin, Deputy Director 3 of Polibatam, who commended the efforts of both the students and their mentors in bringing Polibatam’s name to prominence at the national level.

“Congratulations to the entire team and their supervisors. Keep up the great work and continue to achieve!” said Dr. Zaenuddin.

This achievement has further motivated Barelang FC to continue competing at higher levels and bring Indonesian robotics innovation to the international stage.
