First Place at Kontes Robot Indonesia - Semarang, Indonesia

SEMARANG - The Robotics Team from Batam State Polytechnic (Polibatam) has once again achieved national recognition at the Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2023 on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The Polibatam Robotics Team secured 3 championships and 3 awards at the National Level Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2023.

The announcement of these awards was delivered by the Head Judge of KRI 2023, Prof. Dr. Eng. Dr. Benyamin Kusumoputro, M.Eng, during the closing ceremony of KRI 2023 at Gelora Prof. Sudharto, SH, Universitas Semarang (USM).

At the National Indonesian Robot Contest 2023 in Semarang, the Polibatam Robotics Team participated in 5 competition divisions and brought home 3 championships and 3 awards, namely:

• 1st Place National Champion in the Humanoid Soccer Robot Division
• 2nd Place in Technical Challenges for the Humanoid Soccer Robot Division
• 2nd Place National Champion in the Underwater Robot Division
  

Additionally, they received 3 awards in the following categories: - Best Design for the Humanoid Soccer Robot - Best Strategy for the Humanoid Soccer Robot - Special Award for the Underwater Robot in the additional mission category

The Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2023 was organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) under the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia. KRI was first held in 2003 under the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture at that time.

The Expert Staff of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for Talent Management, Tatang Muttaqin, expressed his confidence that all participants of KRI 2023 had given their best efforts in the competition, showcasing creativity and sportsmanship during the matches.
